What does it mean to Rent to own?

Rent to Own typically means the owner has promised to sell the property to the tenant buyer for a certain price within a certain time frame.

The tenant will need to qualify for a new loan and the property will need to appraise for the amount agreed to between owner and tenant.

• Tenant locks in a price today for a purchase later. If that property value goes up, the appreciation is in favor of the tenant buyer
• Tenant has exclusive or first right to purchase the property
• Tenant can get acquainted with the neighborhood & the home before fully committing
• Tenant can move immediately regardless of credit score
• Tenant can talk with our lender for pre-qualification
• Tenant is prepared to pay down payment (lease option consideration fee)
